Overview

Department of Engineering is the biggest and most dynamic department at Ibra College of Technology. It started as a Vocational Training Institute in 1982, and from then on, it underwent series of transformations in its program structure to continuously keep abreast with the changing market demands of the Sultanate.

Today, engineering department has 80 well-diversified and highly qualified staffs providing technical trainings to more than 1200 students. It offers specializations leading to a career in Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Computer, Mechanical and Architectural Engineering. In Spring, 2013 the department started offering Quantity Surveying, another lucrative specialization for novices seeking a brighter future ahead.
