The Business Department is committed to providing its students with academic recognition by way of giving honor to those who have shown academic excellence for the previous semesters. A total of 24 students (from all levels) got the highest Grade Point Average, known as Dean’s Honor List, for the last two semesters in AY 2018-19.

In recognition of their excellent academic performance, Students’ Appreciation Day was held on June 18, 2019 in BS 112. Dr. Habiba Al-Mughairi, HoD, Business Department welcomed the audience by explaining the objective of the event and encouraging the awardees to continue to excel in their studies. This was followed by a short inspiring words from Dr. Ramesh, HoS, Accounting.

Gracing the occasion also was Dr. Mohammed Rashed Hamdan Al-Mamari, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, who together with Dr. Habiba awarded the Certificates of Appreciation and gifts to the student-awardees.

On behalf of the awardees, Qasim Sulaiman Al-Hasani, shared his experiences on his studies and how he was able to get good grades and now one of the Dean’s Honor students in the Department.

The program ended with a presentation of the Students’ Achievements in Research for the Academic Year 2018-19 and word of thanks by Dr. Rao.
