ETC staff attended the ServiceDesk Plus Workshop which was conducted last 30 October 2018 at Hotel InterContinental Muscat.

This event was sponsored by Digital Waves IT Solutions, a partner of software vendors that provide software solutions in Sultanate of Oman. Two programmer analysts of ETC, Mr. Roland Ablian and Ms. Latha Sahadevan, realized the importance of conducting an event like this allowing them to check out new product features and updates, get expert help, and see interesting product demonstrations.

A seminar on Manage Engine’s IT management software is deemed to be significant for ETC of Ibra College of Technology. This kind of tools can be relatively essential among the software developers of the center to streamline its in-house software applications based on the contemporary software features. Some of the SD+ tools which were discussed in the event include IT Help Desk Software, IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Change Management.

At the last part, a number of tips and tricks were given which might ensure that the participants would remember the disparate aspects of the SD+ regarding organizational rules, approval reminders, automatically close requests, shared custom dashboards, work log time, advanced searches, history search, and so on.
