The On the Job Training Department organized a training orientation program on March 26, 2019 at ELC Hall for all eligible students who will take OJT in Summer 2019.

The program started with a warm welcome from the guest speaker, Mr. Khaleel Al Busaidi, Head of Training Department, Ministry of Health. Students have shown great enthusiasm and interest as the speaker gave insights about the Mock Interview. Following him was Ms. Aida Al Sabti, Head of the OJT Department where she discussed the significance, rules, schedule, allowance, online registration system. There was also an open forum where questions were raised and answered about the time management during Ramadan period.

Dr.Issa Al Amri, Lecturer from Business Department shared the importance of team work, proper work behavior and task management inside a firm. It was followed by a Safety Awareness presentation by Mr.Ibrahim, OJT Coordinator Engineering Department. He emphasized the safety rules and regulations, do’s and don’ts inside the company with a video presentation.

The program ended by giving of gifts through a lucky draw by Ms. Aida Al Sabti. This was to encourage and improve the number of participants. The event was facilitated by the Department’s OJT coordinators, Mr.Ibrahim and Dr.Nusruthulla from Engineering, Dr.Sanjiv from IT and Dr.Anil for Business.
