Robotics is an interdisciplinary sector of science and engineering dedicated to the design, construction, and use of mechanical robots. Each robot has a differing level of autonomy, ranging from human-controlled bots that carry out tasks that a human has full control over to fully autonomous bots that perform tasks without any external influences.
A webinar on Building Mobile Robots and Arduino Based Robot Assembling and Programming was conducted by Robotics Professional Team on June 22nd and 23rd Online through MS Teams by Mr.Donnie Carlos Solano, Mr.Michael C. Dalisay, and Mr.Markandan Rengasamy Muthusamy. There are 14 total participants from different levels and different specializations.
This webinar gave the students a glimpse of the necessary process of building Mobile Robots using a different platform that includes mechanical Parts, electronics, and programs. The resource speaker presented the components of a robot system; from the framework of the robot to the controller and all sensors attached to the robot. A presentation about the programming was given and discussed with the participants. A simple demonstration of the robot and how it works was also demonstrated. At the end of the program, a question and answer session was facilitated and it was a very active discussion among all the participants. The students are thankful for the knowledge and certificates.
