During the COVID – 19 pandemic, educators all over the world have switched to a new alternative in order to impart education & training and it is called “Webinar”.

Webinars are useful for both organizers and attendees, as a result it became vastly popular all over the world during the pandemic.

The Educational Technology Center (ETC) organized webinar on the topic “ProQuest Databases and Turnitin”. It was a two-session webinar which was held on 20th October 2020 and 27th October for the staff and students respectively.

The speakers for the webinar were Hasan Khrais and Ilyas Hariza who are the Academic Sales Manager and Product Manager respectively for Tech Knowledge LLC, Dubai. Tech LLC provides electronic resources and learning solutions to educational institutions across the Middle East.

The basic aim of the webinar was to explain to the staff and students on how to effectively use Proquest and Turnitin and how to derive the best results from them. The two-session webinar was well attended by staff and students.
