The 4th Student National Symposium was held at UTAS-Muscat on 11th of October 2022, this symposium aims to empower 21st century students in both innovation and research and explore the disruptive technologies in the IR4.0 era.

The symposium was open to all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Oman.

The Engineering team, Ms. Buthaina Saleh Said Al Busaidi and Ms. Naama Said Hamed Al-Khudairi, under the mentoring of Dr. Subhash Gupta and Mr. Luisito Cabigting has won 1st PLACE in project presentation competition for their project entitled, “Fused deposition modelling technique-based design and fabrication of a portable and low-cost 3D-printer”, besting several number of universities and colleges.
