The Students Guidance Committee of the Department of Information Technology organized a Student development program on 6/12/22, 12 P.M. at IT105 entitled “Tips to Improve Your English Proficiency” for IT students, to provide techniques and knowledge to improve their English proficiency.

Dr. Elamparithy Selvarasu, Lecturer, English Language Center, UTAS Ibra gave a very interactive workshop to the IT students. The highlights were to discuss Collocations and to impart regular English practice among the students. The speaker emphasized the importance of using the correct collocation to speak meaningful and understandable English.

The speaker concluded the workshop by giving a list of online resources that helps in improving English communication. 30 Students from the Department of Information Technology participated in this workshop.
